About us – Our Coaches

When choosing a coach there are many factors you may wish to consider.  Two key indicators of quality are the level of training and the quality of experience the potential coach has. MBS coaches are fully qualified, having had some of the best training available, are members of relevant professional bodies and have a vast real world experience including corporate and SME credentials.

Tony Nutley

MBS Coaches - Tony Nutley

I have been involved in Coaching, Training and Development for over 15 years with experience at just about every level I can think of. As well as working as a Coach (Life Coaching Centre / MBS Coaching) I am also the Director of Training at the UK College of Personal Development.

10 years ago I was lucky enough to take part in an international research project which was focused on uncovering the key ingredients that enable success. This “Success Factor Modelling” programme has given me some great tools and approaches to help my clients unlock their real potential and to realise their dreams into tangible success.

I qualified as a Success Coach in 2004, this experience added to my NLP training and my clients tell me that they really enjoy the mix of approaches I use in my practice, including personality profiling and powerful outcome setting for success.

Key client areas I work with are:

  • Creating confidence and motivation
  • Developing lasting self-esteem
  • Powerful Goal setting
  • Coping with change
  • Career development
  • Phobias
  • And our famous “Interview Ready” coaching sessions.

I am a member of the following professional bodies and adhere to their Codes of Conduct & Ethics:

The Association for Coaching
The Association for NLP
General Hypnotherapy Council.

Melanie Richens

MBS Coaches - Melanie Richens

I am a Coach, NLP Trainer and Master Practitioner, Provocative Change Works Practitioner and Hypnotherapy Master Practitioner.  I work with individuals and organisations in the public and private sectors.

I worked as a solicitor for almost 20 years, I was a partner and latterly Director of People in a top 100 law firm.  I have extensive experience working at board level, developing and implementing business strategies and facilitating meetings.  As a Director of People, I was responsible for major projects promoting cultural changes in the organisation as well as the recruitment, training and development of all staff and partners.  This was achieved through a combination of coaching (internal and external coaches), mentoring and training.

My clients say that I am extremely outcome focused, working with them to enable them to be clear about what it is they want, and then working with them  to enable them achieve their goals.

I am passionate about encouraging individual and organisational success. I have coached individuals at all levels to improve personal performance, to aid career progression and remove the barriers to success.

My greatest satisfaction comes from clients telling me that after their coaching sessions they have achieved what they previously thought was impossible; or have overcome a barrier that once seemed insurmountable.

I use a variety of coaching models which I combine with NLP and Hypnotherapy to work with clients to tailor my approach to match their needs.

I work with a diverse range of clients on areas such as:

  • Building confidence and motivation
  • Improving self-esteem
  • Goal setting
  • Overcoming insomnia
  • Dealing with anxiety
  • Stress management
  • Coping with change
  • Career development
  • Performance improvement

I am a member of the following professional bodies and adhere to their Codes of Conduct & Ethics:

Association for Coaching (AC)
Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ANLP)
The British Institute of Hypnotherapy (BIH)

Since 2010 I have chaired the Swindon Mindful Employer Network.
